You see the passion and high profession of the very sympathic and authenitc ice-artesanian: especially in his selected and chosen sustainable cacao beans i.a. from madagaskar and ecuador for the unique chocolate flavors including the local calabrese chili or the awesome tartufo di pizzo. "This place was a real find. Tucked just a little off the main street but still very close and easy to reach. The gelato was absolutely delicious with that unmistakable taste of real ingredients. We went for the classic tartufo which was rich and authentic and spotted they also had pistachio which looked amazing. We couldn’t resist trying the granita too and it was just as fantastic. Everything felt fresh honest and made with love. A perfect stop on a warm day."

"Day 1 I had my very first tartufo here, so I went for the classic chocolate while my companion chose pistachio, and we shared a bit of both. I ended up liking them equally. The chocolate was deep and rich, with a natural flavor - even slightly bitter and astringent, not overly sweet, which was a surprise. It felt like the exact opposite of cheap, powdery ice cream. The pistachio had a fresh, almost green taste, not cloying at all, and left a really refreshing finish. The service was excellent - a very friendly lady helped us - and it was convenient that we could pay by card. The place is right in the center, though a bit hidden at first glance, slightly away from the bustle of the old historical town, yet people seem to be coming in all the time. Day 2 I returned to have some takeaway tiramisu and it did not disappoint!"
